A Little Note on INTENTIONS

When I saw my new friend, Desiree, discuss a conversation we had on her instagram feed, I was so moved at how she had taken my advice to heart and I just knew I had to share it with you all. Before I get into it, read what she said and I’ll chat a little more at the bottom.disordered eating, institute of integrative nutrition, healthy meal planning, healthy smoothie recipes

disordered eating, institute of integrative nutrition, healthy meal plans, healthy smoothie recipes

So inspiring!!! I love how she was able to change her perspective and is now back on tract with a diet that’s going to keep her auto-immune disease in check and allow her to be the glowing, radiant being she is. I see this “intention situation” often in my clients with prior histories of eating disorders or disordered eating. They were so wrapped up in associating healthy food or limiting food with punishment and self-hatred that they have a hard time flipping the switch and realizing when it is okay to make certain food choices. My go to for those clients is always to discuss the intentions behind eating, sometimes even go so far as to tell them to silently recite the intention for their food before they eat it! If this is something you struggle with, try that for a week. Before you put anything into your mouth, whether it’s a green smoothie or a bacon cheeseburger, say to yourself, ” I am eating this food to nourish and fuel my body” or whatever intention that you connect with to get to that place of true self-love and wellbeing.

It’s no wonder people feel negative emotions around dieting, even if you haven’t struggled with any severe disorder eating almost all of us of have put ourselves through the misery of diet at one point in our lives. I’m officially 26 days off sugar, if you asked my boyfriend, he’d say I’m just torturing myself, however because of the intention behind my actions ( exploring the benefits of eliminating sugar from your diet and test driving it for a couple clients who are interested in trying it) I have found it to be a totally exciting adventure! Don’t worry you’ll hear more about how it went in a later blog or vlog after my 30 days are up. My point is that because I’m doing it for fun, seeing it as an experiment and research for my clients who I absolutely adore, it’s no a brainer. The second you try to do a diet to “lose weight” or “fix yourself” it’s going to feel like depravation. Switch your focus to the FUN, to the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, think about it as self-care.

Taking care of your body and fueling it would foods that support it’s best possible vitality is an absolutely wonderful thing. Stand in the power of doing something fabulous for yourself and if a certain style of eating or book your reading about food doesn’t seem to be in sync energetically and intentionally with that, then toss it! If you’re serious about changing your energy and feelings around food and dieting then reach out, email me for a breakthrough session at Cassandra@GoSweetandSkinny.com and let me walk you through it so you can start transforming those intentions ASAP.

I challenge you to write in the comments below this post what intention you are committed to shifting in your life! Tell me how that’s going to change the action itself. xo!

BAKED Zucchini Chips

delicious baked zucchini chips

I was craving a healthy snack this afternoon and decided to try my hand at whipping up some baked zucchini chips! I have been thinking about different healthy snack ideas for my upcoming Sweet + Skinny Detox Meal Plan and these fit right in perfectly! They are super healthy, easy to make and really satisfy that crunchy potato chip craving.

Baked Zucchini Chips

Preheat your oven to 225 degrees. Slice a zucchini very thin, you can use a mandolin if you have one but cutting them as thin as you can with a good knife works just fine! Spray 2 baking sheets with olive oil cooking spray and spread out your zucchini slices evenly so they do not overlap. Sprinkle some garlic, oregano and a little salt and pepper to  your liking and bake them for 1 hour and a half to 2 hours, depending how thin you slice. You’ll know they’re done when they get a little brown and turn crunchy!

A Healthy Shamrock Shake

healthy shamrock shake recipe aka mint chocolate chip smoothie recipe for when it's not st. patrick's day!

For those of you who love being festive with your food as much as I do, here is a fun little smoothie you can whip up in the morning to show off some Irish pride! It’s also equally delicious, if you just need to satisfy a mint chocolate chip milkshake craving.. ;)

A Healthy Shamrock Shake (aka. my mint chocolate chip smoothie)

Simply blend 1 banana, 1/2 an avocado, 4 leaves of Romaine (or a handful of spinach), 1 cucumber (seeds out/skin off), 3/4 cup almond milk, a couple fresh mint leaves (if mint’s your thang – if not skip it!), a tbsp of cashew butter (any nut butter will do though!) and blend it all together! If you’re a mint chocolate chip fan – mix in some small vegan chocolate chips after it’s all blended. Enjoy your dessert for breakfast treat and skip all the green dye colored food during the day!

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie

choccoveredstrawberrysmoothie

We all have those mornings that are hard to wake up to. The morning after something in our life goes terribly wrong. Maybe it’s just a bad review at work, maybe it’s a break up, maybe it’s something as earth shattering as someone you love passing. Regardless of the degree, at the moment we usually don’t want to eat anything or we want to eat everything just to comfort ourselves. Both paths will leave us empty and feeling horrible. So this morning, when I was having one of those dreadful mornings you never want to wake up for, I decided to treat myself to something delicious and nourishing for my body, my brain and my heart. Chocolate covered strawberries are one of my favorite things in the world and so I decided to make myself a chocolate covered strawberry smoothie! Even though I have no appetite and it would have been super easy to skip breakfast all together, I know that right now my body needs me to take care of it. This smoothie was SUPER yummy and helped brighten my other wise gloomy day – I hope it can do the same for you- or just make your already awesome day even better! xo

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie
1 cup of chopped organic strawberries
1/4 cup vegan choc chips
1 tsp of almond butter
6oz container of plain coconut yogurt
1/2 cup of chocolate nut milk
2 pitted dates
5 ice cubes

Blend it all together and enjoy! :)

What does SkinnybyTara eat?!

In honor of my recent trip to Miami for South Beach Wine and Food Festival – which was a blast (and you’ll totally be seeing a post about that this week!) – I wanted to post the second half to my interview with my friend, fellow healthy living guru and Miami native, Miss Tara Milhem of SkinnyByTara.com. You guys have a pretty good idea of what I eat on a daily basis but here is some insight from my girl Tara! Feel free to comment below on the video and ask her questions – I’m sure she will be more than happy to answer them!

Strawberries + Cream Tarts

20140211-115956.jpg

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this is a great little recipe for a quick, festive treat that won’t have you laboring over the stove! You can also modify it depending on whether you want it to be vegan or not. I’ll give you both options!

strawberries + cream tarts
6-8 strawberries
1 package of philo dough shells

1 container of tofu cream cheese (vegan version)
1 cup powder sugar (optional how much you use)
1 container of mascarpone (if your are not doing the vegan version)

3 tsp of balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp of agave/stevia

First, defrost your little philo dough shells! These little babies are accidentally vegan most of the time but be sure to check the box because I’m sure there are all different brands. Just let them sit on a plate while you wash and slice your strawberries. Place your sliced strawberries in a bowl and add the balsamic and sweetener, mix it all up and let them sit. This will give them a sweet and  tangy taste and make them must more interesting to eat! Now, if you’re not going the vegan way, just pipe your mascarpone in to the little shells, the dollup should be about the size of a hershey’s kiss at most. For my lovely vegans, take your tofu cream cheese, put it in your mixer and slowly add the powdered sugar to taste. I said 1 cup but you really only need enough to turn the cream cheese taste into a slightly sweeter and more refined ‘cream’ taste! I use powdered sugar because no one wants their creamy filling to have little granules in it. Yuck!  Once all your baby shells are filled with cream filling, place three strawberry slices on top and you’re good to go!

Wasn’t that easy?! It’ll take you 15-20 mins TOPS – and the best part is that your guest will absolutely think they are the cutest, tastiest thing ever. Everybody wins!

Asian inspired Romanesco

romanesco1

This adorable vegetable is called Romanesco and looks like a baby green cauliflower and tastes like a mix between broccoli and cauliflower. I HIGHLY suggest you try it if you haven’t already! Pick it up at your local farmer’s market and make it for dinner this weekend! I whipped up this super easy and delicious Asian inspired version the other night and wanted to share it with you. If you’re unsure how to cook this, follow this recipe and feel free to substitute the sauce for anything you like or just leave it plain with a little salt and pepper.

romanesco2

Asian inspired Romanesco

1 tbsp of coconut oil
2 tbsp of plum sauce
2 tbsp of ginger infused olive oil (or regular olive oil + chopped ginger)

Rinse and chop up your Romanesco (like you would a head of cauliflower or broccoli). Place a small frying pan on the stove with a tbsp of coconut oil in it and your Romanesco and sautee for a few minutes. While that’s cooking, mix your plum sauce and ginger olive oil together and then drizzle over the cooking Romanesco. It shouldn’t take more than five – ten minutes to cook since the Romanesco is so tiny but use your judgement on how crunchy you want the finished product. I love my veggies when they still have a bit of a crunch to them! ;)

Carrot Ginger Squash Soup

20120926_111511b83bfb

It’s absolutely frigid in NYC right now and as much as I do absolutely love my juices and smoothies, sometimes in the winter it just gets too darn cold for them! When this kind of chill strikes, I always turn to soups to heat me up and nourish me. This carrot ginger squash soup is not only delicious, it’s super easy to make and packed full of nutrients to give you energy and keep you warm! (It’s also vegan! psssh don’t tell!)

Carrot Ginger Squash Soup

Sauté 1/2 cup chopped onions, 1 tbsp fresh ginger and 1 clove minced garlic in 1 tsp olive oil for 3 minutes in medium pot. Add 1 1/2 cup low sodium vegetable broth, 1 cup frozen butternut squash cubes and 1 cup of carrot slices. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. With a hand blender, puree until smooth; if desired add broth for thinner texture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Why I’m JUICING!

I’m on DAY FOUR! Going strong and feeling amazing, my cleanse officially ends on midnight tomorrow night as I ring in 2014 and I could not be happier! But WHY am I cleansing!? Even my dad asked me,”You are already so CLEAN from all the food you eat, I don’t get it, why do you need to cleanse?!” haha Leave it to dad! Well for me, it’s not really about losing weight or even necessarily “cleansing”. Juicing gives me AMAZING energy, pure, all natural drive and a clear head. It helps me zero in on what I need to accomplish and also connect to a deeper place inside me so that when I meditate and write, it’s really coming from a deep loving place that’s true to my core. Of course, after thanksgiving and christmas, it’s always a beautiful reminder of just how GOOD are bodies can feel when we are putting the good stuff in and not weighing it down. I thought what better way to say hello to 2014 than with a clear head, an open heart and an energized body! If you have any questions about juicing or are thinking about juicing in the new year feel free to comment below and I will do my best to answer all of them! For more info on the juice cleanse I’m doing, just check out my book “Juicespiration”. peace, love and green juice! Cassandra

get out of your own way

20131226-123115.jpg

You ARE far too smart to stand in your own way!! STOP IT! Okay, enough tough love, but seriously what are you getting in your own way about? Take a few minutes right now, take three deep breaths and ask yourself – where am I getting in my own way? The answer might surprise you. It might even be a major breakthrough!
I recently did this for myself a couple weeks ago and had a radical revelation. I was getting in my way in a MASSIVE way with my work. This might sound ridiculous but unconsciously I think I was really scared of my unlimited potential. I was SCARED of success!! There is a great Marianne Williamson quote that goes,”Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” And that is exactly what was happening to me.
Luckily, the greatest blessing is in the acknowledgment of where we are blocking ourselves because then we can simply open our eyes to how we can bust through that block. I’ll spare you the story of how I busted through mine but it’s safe to say now I am more ready than ever to embrace success with open arms.
Now for you, if your dealing with a body weight issue, this could look like being scared to be skinny! Are you nervous to have attention called to you? Does it scare you a little bit to step into that ideal body? Maybe it’s the effort that it will take to get there that scares you? Take a minute to think about what it could be. This could be a great time to free write some ideas. Whatever you come up with, ask yourself, what am I sacrificing by holding on to this belief? Write that list, get honest and emotional with yourself. Decide that you want whatever it is more than you want to hold on to that limiting belief.

Have a beautiful day! I’d love to hear about what beautiful blocks you’ve discovered – comment below so that I can help support you!

5 tips for slimming down for your holiday parties

I hope you had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving and that you enjoyed lots of delicious food and quality time with your family! I know I certainly did! I filled up on some delicious veggies like dijon brussel sprouts, gluten free stuffing and butternut squash with kale and apple. I even contributed some skinny sweets like vegan chocolate covered ‘caramels’ made from dates and almond butter as well as my vegan pumpkin oat balls! I ate reasonably but somehow still feel kinda yucky post-Thanksgiving and wanted to get myself back in line. I wanted to provide you guys with five easy tips to help you do the same because I know the holidays are a diet danger zone for most of us and it’s pretty impractical to do a full on detox or juice cleanse when you have holiday parties up the wazoo and family gatherings at every turn. So instead, just take these five, relatively simple steps seriously and put them into action. I guarantee you will start feeling better and looking better after just a few days!

FIVE TIPS FOR SLIMMING DOWN FOR YOUR HOLIDAY PARTIES

1. HYDRATE. I can’t stress how important drinking enough water is, especially this time of year! Drinking water is always crucial to helping you feel good, digest well and keeping your hunger at bay but with all the sugary concoctions tempting you at every corner this holiday season you need your H2O to stay strong. Drinking around 8 glasses a day will help your body de-bloat and flush out toxins, so not only will you look better, you’ll feel better! Who doesn’t want that?

2. ADD VEGGIES. Instead of focusing on what you shouldn’t be eating, why not focus on what you SHOULD be eating at every meal, veggies!! Want to feel better, have more energy and slim down? Well, it’s time to fall in love with veggies! I love to challenge my clients with eating 3 vegetables a day to get them in the habit of incorporating them into their routine but if you really want to kick it up a notch, challenge yourself to make half your plate veggies at EVERY meal. You’ll start filling up on the good stuff and be less tempted to mindlessly eat those christmas cookies hanging around the office.

3. SIP SOME TEA. Tea is a wonderful, wonderful thing. In my opinion, it’s nature’s medicine, you name an ailment, there’s probably a tea for it! I love peppermint tea for settling my stomach, ginger tea for improving digestion and oolong tea for digesting fats. It’s cold outside and we all love a nice, steaming hot beverage to warm our hands and tummy with but start choosing teas this season instead of that eggnog latte. You will feel SO MUCH better and your waistline will thank you.

4. SKIP SWEETS, MOST OF THE TIME. Don’t hate me for this one. I don’t like excluding anything, that’s why I say “most of the time” but if you want to get down to business and see an improvement in a minimal amount of time, sometimes you got to be a little stricter than normal. Processed food in general will keep that nice insulated layer around your middle but sweets, I feel, are particularly tempting culprits during the holidays. There’s chocolate, cookies, gingerbread houses, cupcakes, etc, everywhere you turn, which is why I say CHOOSE WISELY. I love sweets, obviously, but I’m very careful to make sure I’m getting the best bang for my calorie buck. I think a good rule of thumb is to pick one day a week where you allow yourself to indulge in a special decadent treat. Save it for those amazing cupcakes your girl friend makes ( wink, wink) or your mother’s bread pudding, something special and delicious. Don’t waste it on some store bought cake or overdone cookies from someone at work. Be smart with your sweets!

5. GET MOVING. I will be the first one to tell you that losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise. So why does ‘get moving’ even make my top five you ask? It’s for your own sanity! The holidays can be an incredibly stressful time and it is SO important to release some of that stress and anxious energy in physical activity. Take care of yourself! Working out will help keep your stress levels down, burn some calories and keep you on track for your happiest, healthiest body. It’s so easy to forget about taking care of ourselves in the season that’s all about giving to others, let exercise be your me time! Just remember that you are the best version of yourself for your loved ones when you are taking care of YOU! So make yourself, job one and don’t skimp on your exercise and self care.

I hope you find these tips helpful! I promise if you really put them in to action they will absolutely help you get through the holiday season feeling great and looking slim. I do still have a couple coaching slots available, so if you’re serious about getting into gear and need a partner to help you achieve your happiest, healthiest body – take action! Reach out, email me at gosweetandskinny@gmail.com (or just reply to this email) and let’s schedule a 30 minutes skype breakthrough session to help us get to know each other and see what goals we can accomplish together.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Vegan Cauliflower Purée

20131127-194923.jpg

Cauliflower purée is one of my absolute favorite comfort foods! It’s one of my very first veggie indulgences and it’s super easy to make vegan! Obviously it’s still very good if your personal preference is to add in the butter but trust me, this is delicious just as it is!

vegan cauliflower purée
head of cauliflower
3 cups of almond milk
2 garlic cloves (or ten peeled garlic)
2 tbsp of earth balance soy free “butter”
1 chopped white onion
A sprig of rosemary

Pour almond milk into saucepan and add your head of cauliflower (broken into smaller pieces), peeled garlic cloves, onion and rosemary. Let it boil and then simmer till the cauliflower is thoroughly cooked. Remove the rosemary and drain the rest of the contents, keeping the almond milk on the side. Place cauliflower, onion and garlic into a food processor or blender and purée. Add almond milk little by little till you have a nice, smooth and creamy texture. Now add some cold vegan butter and stir it in. Salt and add remaining butter to taste. Let cool and enjoy!

LOW FAT PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I LOVE pumpkin and these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are sooo easy to make and delicious, they are truly a “no-brainer”. In this brainless baking segment, I show you how to vamp up your old chocolate chip cookie mix and create something not only healthier and lower in fat than traditional cookies but a treat that tastes even better too!

My Favorite Salad!

myfavsalad

After a month of hotel living and room service/take out eating, I could not wait to get back to NYC, my apartment and my kitchen! My body was craving something delicious, fresh and healthy. Yes, your body will actually start CRAVING that after you feed it too much heavy, restaurant-y food! I didn’t eat like a total heathen, I mean this is ME we’re talking about but fair enough to say I had a couple more cocktails than usual and indulged my love for mexican food more than once while on the west coast. So first night back and all I can think about is making a salad! Seriously, starved for a salad with home-made dressing for a change. Now, don’t get me wrong, I can not wait to start making some season fall dishes, but it was almost 80 degrees in NYC when I got back (total bummer for fall-obessed me) and so I thought it fitting to have my favorite salad just one more time before pumpkins, cranberries and apples take over my culinary life. Spinach, strawberries and brie, it’s a little naughty but very nice, all of my favorite things combined to make a very easy, simple and delicious salad. Enjoy!

MY FAVORITE SALAD

SALAD

2 handfuls of baby spinach

5 small strawberries, sliced

small handful of crushed walnuts

5 slices of brie, chopped into fourths

DRESSING

1 tbsp dijon mustard

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp olive oil (I used basil infused)

pinch of salt

1 tbsp of fresh strawberry (or any kind of berry) preserves

How to get back on track!

20130927-102618.jpg
It happens to the best of us, we’re chugging along so well with our healthy habits, meditating, drinking our green juice , exercising regularly and then it happens, something crashes into our life like a ton of bricks and we are instantly off track! It could be for a bad reason like a break up, ill family member or just maybe a funk at work OR sometimes it’s even for a good reason, like you fell in love, are on vacation or have been going out with friends a lot but either way your wonderful HAPPY, HEALTHY routine is disturbed and you fall off course. Now, the first step to getting back on track is simple, realize you’ve fallen off track. Nope, this isn’t an AA meeting but it’s still the first step to solving any problem in your life, haha. So now that you’ve admitted that you’ve fallen off track, you’ve made the conscious decision to get back on track, let me take you through my personal steps to realigning your life!

1. FORGIVE YOURSELF. Get over it! It happened, maybe you gained 10lbs, maybe you lost your zen, whatever it is it is and you beating yourself up about it is helping NO ONE. So give it up! Whether you want to sit in a self-forgiveness meditation, envision yourself as a carefree child and heal yourself that way or you simply want to take a moment to yourself and tell that little voice in your head to shut the f**ck up – is totally up to you. Just accept that you are human, it’s not the end of the world and Cassandra is here to help.

2. ASSESS THE SITUATION. What happened? Why did you fall off track? Is it still going on or are you back to your regularly scheduled programming? If it’s over and done with, wooo hoo! I’m glad you had your fun and are ready to get back to the norm. If it’s still going on, you’re on a month long vaca, still in a new relationship or still dealing with grief, then you need to accept that this might be the normal for now and it’s time to get back to feeling good! Having a “splurge day” here and there is wonderful but when they start piling up one after another you will start feeling it’s effects on your system. No one wants to be sluggish, moody and heavier regardless of the situation. Getting back on track with your healthy habits will make you feel so much better!

3. GET MOVING. It’s not always easy to jump back into your old gym routine when you’ve been binging on junk food for days but even a long walk in the park will put you in a better place. Start off by doing your favorite version of working out. Mine is usually going to yoga class or just doing some yoga moves on my own and getting out in nature and doing some sort of cardio but you can do whatever appeals to you. As long as you start making an effort to get your body moving, give yourself a week or so to ween back into your usual exercise routine.

4. GO GREEN. Chances are your body is desperately missing some greens! We forget all about them when we fall off track and stop eating fresh foods from the earth and our body can’t help but feel the negative effects. Best thing you can do? Grab some green juice ASAP! If that’s too crazy for you, of course you can just start incorporating more green in to your plate but a nice juice is great because it gives you an insta-greenboost! Pledge to eat at least three green veggies a day and stick to it!!

5. COMMIT TO A ROUTINE. Now your moving, feeling better and getting some green in to you so take the final step and make a commitment to yourself to keep it up! It can be as small as promising to be active 30 minutes a day or a pledge to go to spinning class every morning and not eat processed foods. Listen to your body and decide what’s right for you. Big or small, making a promise to yourself will keep you on track and remind you to stay on track!

I certainly fell a bit off course while I was in LA. It was SO easy with most of my meals coming from whatever I could grab after filming and then wanting to indulge in “fat days” with the boys on the weekend but whenever I took a breather, got myself to the gym or found some green juice, I was instantly reminded of why I love my ‘normal routine’. I feel better, I’m happier and healthier when I’m putting good plant based foods in my body and meditating and exercising daily! I’m back on track and couldn’t be happier. I hope these steps help you, please feel free to comment below, I’d love to hear about your journey and what your biggest struggles for getting back in to your healthy habits have been!

Defining Myself

I need to open up with you about something I have struggled with for a LONG, long time. This week it was really brought to the forefront of my mind because of a really exciting opportunity! Unfortunately, I can not officially  let you know what I’m doing but let’s just say it involves my handy-work in the kitchen and a lot of people watching me. (wink, wink) I promise to let you know as soon as I LEGALLY can! But for the purpose of today’s blog, let’s just say I was asked by someone relatively important if I was a vegan chef. In that moment, I was forced to do something that I was very uncomfortable with..

DEFINE MYSELF.

At first, I said,” well,  yes, I am mostly known for my vegan cupcakes.”But after a few seconds I corrected myself. ” I don’t only cook vegan, I just try to make really delicious things healthier for people with out losing the whole ‘delicious’ part of the equation.” It felt weird and I’m sure they weren’t pleased with my Switzerland- like answer.  Honestly, I get this question A LOT  so I felt like it had to be addressed and leave it to the universe to create such a formal occasion for it! Truth is some ( NOT ALL) vegans don’t really like us ‘swiss’ types either, people have their beliefs (carnivore, vegan, low carber) and they feel very passionate about them. Don’t get me wrong, I’m passionate, but I’m passionate aboutPEOPLE GETTING HEALTHY AND ENJOYING IT! Yes, I personally, a hundred percent agree with veganism but even I occasionally have an egg or want a piece of salmon. I don’t beat myself up, I’m human, I do my best and I listen to my body.
More importantly though, I don’t want to single anyone out. I want to help you whether you’re used to eating 4 cheese burgers a week or you are ready to go raw vegan! So my cooking, when it’s for me, is mostly vegan/vegetarian but you bet I can cook almost anything and I want to be able to cook anything! I aim to provide a variety of healthy recipes and tips on the site and as well as when I’m one on one with my coaching clients.
Starting to clean up what you put on your plate and take charge of your mind and body is no small task but where there’s a will there is a way. So whether you’re still eating steak or you are on a juice fast, it’s cool. Start at your own pace, don’t get intimidated, maybe try a juice for breakfast or make one of my vegan treats that look yummy and incorporate it in your day to day. Slowly but surely you will start learning this whole other beautiful palette that your body wants and craves. But for now, if you want a healthy, good for you recipe with chicken or meat, feel free to reach out and email me. There is no “perfect” diet, there is only what works best for you body right now. We’ve all grown up with  a very similar processed, American diet and we’re all at different stairs on the staircase to our happiest, most vibrant, fit and thriving bodies. I want to be there every step of the way because everyone deserves a chance ( and the help) to get that fabulous place where we feel amazing, look fabulous and love our lives.

So if I’m going to define my cooking style, I’m a maker of delicious, healthy dishes that help people lead their happiest lives and promote their over all well being.

I simply refuse to be put in a box.
